Postdoctoral Training Program
The Stowers Institute for Medical
Research provides outstanding opportunities for postdoctoral research
in a stimulating and interactive environment. Postdoctoral Researchers
work under the direction of a Stowers
scientist in state-of-the-art
laboratories equipped with the most advanced technology and receive competitive
salaries and benefits.
The Institute conducts broad-based interdisciplinary research directed at understanding the genetic, molecular, and cellular pathways that control how multicellular organisms are normally formed and patterned, and how they are altered in disease.
The average starting salary (or stipend) for first year postdoctoral researchers is around $36,000.
The successful candidate will have completed or will shortly be completing a Ph.D., M.D. or combined M.D./Ph.D. degrees.
